PATENT ANNUITIES

Patent annuities are paid from the 3rd annuity onwards, counting from the date of filing, and are paid in advance.
Patents are valid 20 years from the date of filing. The grace period is 6 months, with payment of additional fee of 50%.

Supplementary Protection Certificates can be obtained and are valid up to five years.

A Power-of-Attorney is not required for payment of patent annuities.
